Rhonda,
Getting to know you and Randy and the boxers as you guys were attempting to have Summer and Bay is a reminder to me of how he was willing to do anything, in conjunction with you, to create the beautiful family you all had. 
I do share a rather funny memory about Randy getting a toothpick stuck in his throat from, likely a Thursday evening at Superior Grill , and not realizing it until days later.  I wasn’t there to experience it first-hand, yet my source is pretty reliable.  

Summer and Bay, we’ve not been around one another since you were very young.  You all are beautiful, and I’ve heard through the years how much you both meant to him.  He was a sharp looking, sharp acting, and very talented man.  He was also super smart because he married your mom.  I cannot think of many gals I respect
more than I do her. 

You , the family and his friends are absolutely in my prayers ! 

Summer and Bay - you all have been on the minds and hearts of so many of your Father's friends and colleagues. I got to meet your Dad early on in my career and while working the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He worked tireless hours to help our team deliver for our client. He drove many miles, brought along water and snacks to our team, and did anything he could do to help - in a very difficult situation. Over the years, the GCAL team became more than a vendor, but trusted partners and friends. Your Dad would answer my calls on technical questions all hours of the night, always with that welcome tone and semi-smirk and friendly laugh on the receiving end. Randy has been good to me and my family over the years too, and checking in when we had losses and challenging times. You always knew he genuinely cared for others. He even sent LSU tickets to Razorback fans over the years, always with a note about how the Tigers would win. He sent me heckling messages on the very few occasions the Razorback actually won. 
He was always welcoming to our team in LA or on the road with a nice dinner, wonderful conversation, thoughtfulness, and extreme generosity. He also always gave me updates on you ladies. He was so proud of you both and would light up when talking about his daughters. He loved your work ethic, that you are team players, and your personal and academic pursuits. He enjoyed spending time with you and worked to make your games and prioritize family, as much as he could, over work.
I think my mind still cannot wrap around the fact he is gone. If anyone could overcome this challenge, it was Randy. I just believe that God is a part of all situations, and if we truly trust Him, we trust Him with all things, including our lives and those we love the most. I have hope that our creator is at work in you and your family. I pray that you feel God's closeness and that peace - the kind that surpasses all human understanding.
