Ralph was an Air Force Veteran, who was stationed in Guam during WWII. He began working for Halliburton driving trucks for a short time before moving to Baton Rouge, where he began a career with McCormick and Company Spices and retired after 29 years. Ralph had a love for LSU sports and worked for LSU Event Staff, as a game marshal, for many different sporting events. He had a love for life especially for cooking, dancing, music, boxing, and his weekly card games with the guys.
Ralph was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who loved his family dearly. He is survived by his children, Keith Daigle (Cathy), Cathy Talley (Mike), Lisa Mitchell (Charles), and Tim Daigle (Laura); 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter on the way.
Ralph is preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Joyce Thompson Daigle; his parents, Lubin Joseph Daigle and Louise Kathleen Hogan Daigle; a sister Kathleen Daigle Junot; and brother, Thomas Jerry Daigle.
Visiting hours will be observed on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 10am until a Funeral Service at 12pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Interment to follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
