Paula Mansur Roblin, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and mother-in-law, passed away Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at BR General Hospital (Butterfly Wing). Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, (825 Government St.) on Monday, Dec. 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 9 a.m. until Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Internment at Roselawn Memorial Park. Paula was 73, born and raised in Baton Rouge. She married the love of her life, Newman Roblin, in 1967. She devoted her life to her husband and family. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas More Church. She is survived by her husband, Newman; a brother, Peter Mansur and wife Carole Mansur; a daughter and her husband, Lisa and Alvin Madere; a son and his wife, Peter and Meagan Roblin and eight grandchildren: Micah Madere, Gabrielle Madere, Lucas Madere, Patrick Madere, Ethan Roblin, Aimee Roblin, Aaron Roblin and Wyatt Roblin, all of whom loved their grandmother tremendously. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Sena Mansur; sister, Freida Sutton and niece, Sara Claire Mansur. Paula enjoyed long camping trips with her family and spending time at their second home in the country. Her strength, love and dedication to her family was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the caregivers at The Haven Assisted Living Home and to the doctors and nurses at the Butterfly Wing.
