Patricia “Patsy” Bonnette was born on November 14, 1939, to Vincent A. and Ruby Webb Miranda. A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on November 17, 2023, having just turned 84 years old. After graduating from Baton Rouge High School, Patsy lived her life as a homemaker and a dedicated wife and mother. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and a member of Society of St. Vincent de Paul. She enjoyed exercising her faith, spending time with her family, traveling, and crossword puzzles.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Margaret L. Bonnette of Baton Rouge; brother, William “Bill” Miranda, Sr. of Beaumont, TX; sister, Elaine “Inky” Miller of Cabot, AR; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lannie L. Bonnette, Jr, and brothers, Vincent W. Miranda, Sr. and Edward R. Miranda.
A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Saturday, December 2, from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11, conducted by Father Cleo Milano. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Mark Adams, John Beck, Jim Blazejack, Luke Miller, David Miranda, Samuel Miranda, Vincent “Webb” Miranda, Jr., and William Yeadon. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Miranda and William “Bill” Miranda, Sr.
