Parol Ann Darbonne Guillory

Loving mother, sister, aunt (nan), grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, departed this world to be with our Lord, Monday, the 7th day of February, 2023. And, although our hearts are forever broken, we know that she is now rejoicing in heaven with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Born and raised in Church Point, Parol met and married the love of her life and beloved husband, the late L.C. Guillory. Parol and LC raised their three adoring sons, Randy, Ricky and Scotty. Bowling was her favorite hobby which she did for over 32 years, where she met many lifelong friends. Parol loved to travel early in life with friend and family, especially her sister, Linda Darbonne. Parol was a great cook and loved to fish and spend time with family at her property in Mississippi. She always gave of her time to others, she especially enjoyed volunteering in nursing homes. She was a faithful member of St. Alphonsus Church. She cherished time spent with her granddaughters, Christi and Kaci, and especially loved time spent with her seven great-grandchildren. Parol leaves behind her three sons, Randy Guillory, Ricky Guillory and wife Dana, and Scotty Guillory and wife Melanie, as well as her granddaughters, Christi Neal and husband Glen, and Kaci Sundo and husband Chris. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Wesley, Amos, LC, Ryder, Rylee, Nora and Kaylee, her sister Linda Darbonne, Brother Wesley Darbonne, nieces Lynette Wall, Dawn Rucker and Crystal Champine, as well as many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband L.C. Guillory, her mother and father, Pearl and Wesley Darbonne, Sr., brothers Teddy Darbonne, and Delvin Darbonne.There will never be another person quite like her. Her spunk and tenacity and especially her kind heart touched the lives of so many and made this world a better place. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Monday, February 13, 2023, 10a.m. to 12 p.m., with the Mass of Christian Burial following and Interment at Greenoaks Memorial Park will follow the service. Pallbearers: Cody Wall, Kobe Champine, Kade Champine, Micah Galloway, Wesley Atwood. Honorary Pallbearers: Glen Neal, Caleb Wall, Chris Sundo.
