Nolan Wade Watson passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the age of 90. He was a native of Plaquemine, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge. Nolan was an US Army Air force Veteran of World War II serving with the 234 Army Air Wing earning the American Theater Campaign Ribbon, a Good Conduct Medal and the WW II Victory Ribbon. He is survived by his loving wife; Joyce B. Watson, daughters; Andrea W. McNaylor and husband Bruce, and Debra W. Ber and husband Sheard, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter; Karen W. Cormier, parents; William P. and Bertha Hohensee Watson, brothers; Austin , Lynn, Lloyd and Earl Watson, sisters; Bertha Wells, Nellie Prejean and Ruth Rochelle. Visitation will be Friday, January 29, 2016 at Goodwood Church of Christ, 10715 Goodwood Blvd. 70815 starting at 9:30am until services at 11:00am conducted by Joshua Fowler with inurnment in Spearsville, LA at the Antioch Cemetery. Nolan was a member of Goodwood Church of Christ. He loved fishing, hunting and working with his hands. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Southern Children Children's Home, 100 W. Harding St. Morritton, AR 72110.
