Myria Guerin Butler

Frances Myria Guerin Butler was born in Baton Rouge on May 20, 1960 and died on December 8, 2024. She is survived by her husband, David Thomas Butler, Jr., her sons, David Thomas Butler, III (Jacqueline Coale Butler), John Stephen Butler, James Patrick Butler (Adele Wiggins Butler) and five grandchildren, Therese Renee Butler, Cecilia Coale Butler, Lucille Yvonne Butler, James Paul Butler and Marie Frances Butler. She is also survived by four siblings, Simone Guerin Ginn (Mike), Jeanne Guerin Olinde (Chad), Andre Guerin (Fran), Suzanne Guerin Kellerman (Jack) and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Birchey Butler. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Adam and Yvonne Andre Guerin, and sister, Agnes Guerin Burrows (Richard), and by her mother-in- law, Elizabeth Sevario Butler, and her father-in-law, David Thomas Butler, Sr. Visitation will be at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Catholic High School, St. Agnes Catholic Church, or St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
