Maurine Richardson Modjeski, a resident of Baton Rouge, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 76. Visitation at Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum on Thursday, Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. until graveside service at 10 a.m., under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home. Survivors include four children, Leland Modjeski, Tom Richardson, Maurine Patton and Kimberly Richardson; grandson, John Ross Patton; and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, E. Leland Richardson and Maurine Richardson; and son, Robert Modjeski. The family wishes to thank her many sitters, especially Sonja Granger and Nancy Chalk, also Feliciana Home Health, Superior Home Health, Dr. William Moore and his staff at Baton Rouge Clinic and her nurse, Stephanie King, for their care.
