Mary B. Johnson, a native of Fargo, ND, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the age of 88. She retired from the State Times Morning Advocate as a typesetter and proofreader. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to all. A strong Christian woman, she was a lover of the blessings of the world who enjoyed giving and living. Mary is survived by her children, Tommy Johnson, Johanna Hicks, and John Johnson and his wife, Tanya; grandchildren, Jordan Lee Johnson, Shaina Ray Daigle, and Madison Graddy; siblings, Eva Creekmore, Linda Klovstad, Katherine Fillmore, Robert Buck Bohmer, and Thomas Bohmer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband after 66 years of marriage, Leland H. Johnson, Jr.; parents, Frank and Ura Marie Bohmer; and numerous siblings. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 10 a.m. until Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
