Mary Linn King Boeckman, age 82, passed away Sunday April 6, 2014 at Amber Terrace. She was born on December 15, 1931 in Dennison, Tx, the daughter of the late William and Erma King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Boeckman, a son, Joseph Boeckman, a brother Raymond King and a brother-in-law, James Boeckman. Survivors include two sons and daughers-in-law, David and Betsy Boeckman of Baton Rouge and Donald and Pam Boeckman of Hammond, Two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Paul Taliaferro of Moundsville, WV and Julie and Stewart Hempel of Richardson, TX; eight grandchildren, Melissa Smith of Newark, DE, Scott Hinton of Moundsville, WV; Eric Boeckman of Lake Tahoe, CA and Jenny Boeckman of Baton Rouge; Chris Boeckman of Hammond and Patrick Boeckman of Hammond; Katherine Hempel of Rchardson, TX and Maggie Raymond of Dallas, TX. Two great-grandchildren, Jack Ford of Baton Rouge and Norah Hinton of Moundsville, WV. Mary Linn was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and a member of Single Spouses.
