Louise Morreau Beyer (See Prescott)Louise Morreau Beyer PrescottMadaline Louise Morreau Beyer Prescott died peacefully on September 15, 2015, at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her mother Irene Cox Morreau, stepfather Earl Morreau, and her paternal father George Harrison Litton; her brother James Earl Morreau; her first husband, Dr. William F. Beyer Jr. deceased in 1995, and her second husband James D. Prescott, deceased in 2005.She was born in 1924 in Oneida, Tennessee, and attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA where she met her first husband. After WW II, they returned to Louisiana. She moved from Natchitoches, LA to Baton Rouge, LA in 1964 where she was a long-time resident of Pollard Estates and St. James Place. A 50 year member of University Methodist Church, she was honored in 2004 as a 50 year member of PEO. She worked at the Baton Rouge High School guidance office and the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board for 25 years. She was a care-giver who cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She is survived by her sons William F. Beyer III and his wife Jane Briggs Beyer of Baton Rouge, James Earl Beyer and his wife Sheila (Tot) Williams Beyer of Ashville, NC; five grandchildren: Andrew James Beyer and his wife Darcie Moore Beyer of Dallas, TX; Christine Elizabeth Beyer Barnes and her husband Price Barnes of Nashville, TN; Katherine Louise Beyer Evans and her husband Keith Evans of New Orleans, LA; James Colin Beyer and Eric Wilkinson Beyer of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by five great grandchildren: James, Beau, Connor, Felix and Quincy; a half-sister Anna Litton Cope and a half-brother James Litton; a multitude of Cox, Morreau and Litton cousins, and Charlotte Knight Pfeifer of Charlotte, NC whom she loved as a daughter. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area, 3772 North Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806, or the charity of your choice. Special thanks to the St. James Place Assisted Living and Highland Court Nursing staff for 13 years of special care.Visitation will be Monday, September 21, 2015, at University Methodist Church, 3350 Dalrymple Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70802 from 9-11 a.m. followed by the service at 11a.m. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Cemetery.
