Louis Y Daigle

Louis was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the age of 87. He was born in Church Point, Louisiana, and resided in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Louis was Grand Knight of The Knights of Columbus and an officer of The United Commercial Travelers. Louis enjoyed being outside tending to his garden, cooking for the KC's, traveling, and entertaining his family and friends. He was an advocate and sponsor for youth activities. He loved and adored his family. Louis was a loving husband and father, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joella Daigle; children, Ricky Daigle (Sheri), Pam Daigle, Sharon Jackson (Stan), and Fred Graham; sister, Enella Brignac; brothers, Joe Daigle, Robert Daigle, Bernard Daigle, and John Daigle. Louis is preceded in death by his brother, Willray Daigle, Pierre Daigle, and Vernon Daigle; sister, Genivia Prudhomme; parents, Ideus and Francis Daigle. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff Crossroads Clarity Hospice and Ochsner's Hospital Pulmonary Team. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, March 23, 2023, held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. The interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
