Joyce Warren Mayo, born in El Dorado, AR on June 27, 1930 and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the age of 91. She is survived by her children, Brenda Bach, Frances Dianne Mayo, Janet Hutson (Daniel Buxton), and Jack Mayo (Karen); ten grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jack W. Mayo; parents, Jimmie and Annie Wilson Warren; four siblings, Leonard, Faye, Buster, and Martha Lynn; and son-in-law, Adrian Bach.
Joyce was an avid gardener, a great seamstress, and a loving mother and grandmother who was known for her delicious cookies. The joy of her life was her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 10 am until funeral service at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
