John Homer Brumfield passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the age of 79. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Jennifer Brumfield; son, John-Edward; granddaughter, Sundae-Marie; grandson, John-David, all of Baton Rouge, LA; his aunt, LeVerne Carter-Brumfield (Roseland, LA); his nieces, Regina Cal (B.R., LA), Linda McCarthy (Pacifica, CA); Cornelius Scott (Santa Cruz, CA), Margaret-Emma Martin (B.R., LA), Cecile Grisby (B.R., LA); his nephews, Ernest Cal (B.R., LA), Leon Martin Jr. (B.R., LA), Alford Ray Scott (Crofton, MD), John Bryant (B.R., LA), Willie Scott (B.R., LA), Darryl Hargrove (Gonzales, LA); his sister-in-law, Barbara Hargrove (Gonzales, LA). He is preceded in death by his Wife, Mother, Father, one Sister, an Aunt, and one nephew. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, April 23, 2018, from 10:00AM until the time of funeral service at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at 2:30PM at Louisiana National Cemetery, 303 W. Mount Pleasant Rd., Zachary, LA.
