Jill Lena Lambert, who worked in the legal field, passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at her home in Baton Rouge. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. until services at noon. Interment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Jill is survived by her father, Russell Lambert Jr.; brother, Russell Lambert III and his wife, Cathrine; two nieces, Jean Marie and Emma Catherine; and special friend, Lynette Bourg. Jill was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Lambert. Jill loved gardening, and dedicated her life to her profession and her dogs.
