Janice Rae Kelly

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the age of 89. Janice was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. She loved her family beyond measure! “A bushel & a peck & a hug around the neck!”. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers of all varieties, as well as crocheting and declaring “Kelly Holidays” She is survived by her children, Janice Crain and husband, Gary, Marguerite Donellan and husband, Jim, Louis Kelly Jr and wife, Patricia, Theresa Chaney and husband Michael Sr, Lynn Kelly, Betty Ann Thompson and husband, Joey; 24 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren; sister, Henrietta Olivier; and brothers, Bill Ballard, Henry Ballard, James Ballard; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Kelly Sr; her parents, William W Ballard and M Marie Kerr; son, Donald Kelly, Sr; daughter Ida Hall; grandson Allen Crain and 4 siblings. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 5 PM until 8 PM and will resume at St. Isidore Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 9 AM until Mass at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary Crain, Jr, Michele Drevecky, Melissa Smith, Brian Kelly, Doug Chaney, Brent Kelly, Jr., Angela Flora Perry and Sarah Matherne. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Crain, Jacob Donellan, Mike Chaney, Jr, Donald Kelly, Jr, Britt Kelly, and Joe Thompson III.
