“Well done, thy good and faithful servant:” Matthew 25:21. Janice Landry Hebert passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, surrounded by her family, at the age of 80. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA. Janice was the sweetest, kindest, and most loving mom, daughter, Nana, sister, and friend. Janice was a devout Christian and lived her life loving God, her family, and her friends in that order. She truly fought the good fight and will be missed so much by so many.
Visitation will be at Rabenhorst East on Florida Blvd. on Saturday, February 10, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Services will be celebrated at 10:30 by Bro. Paul Taylor. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Janice Hebert is survived by her three children, Kandie Distefano (and husband Donnie), Kim Bergeron, and Barry Lee Bellue, Jr. (and wife Amy); three grandchildren, Brandon Bergeron, Cameron Bergeron, and Luke Bellue; her two brothers Joseph Landry and Rusty Landry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Irene Landry, and two sisters, Geraldine Landry and Gwen Trabeaux. Pallbearers will be Brandon Bergeron, Cameron Bergeron, Luke Bellue, Bryce Distefano, Lane Distefano, Ryan Distefano, Grant Distefano, and Sam McMahan.
Janice loved her crafts as well as dancing. Although she was still doing crafts right up to the end, she hadn’t been able to dance for a long time. I know that she is now dancing with Jesus. What a glorious life it will be for her to dance for an eternity!
