"Guy Victor Perez, Sr. , a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Denham Springs, LA, passed away on January 7, 2019 at the age of 94. He was a United States Army veteran who served during World War II and retired after many years from Local 198. Survived by wife Margaret Perez, son Guy V. Perez, Jr and wife Darlene Perez, Theresa McFarland and husband Bob McFarland, step-daughter Ruth Carter and husband James Carter, and numerous grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife Lena Perez, parents Andrew and Anna Perez, and siblings Josie Ciaccio, Dominick Perez, and Nina Fresina. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Rabenhorst East, 11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 5PM until 7PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 7PM. The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers Ruth and James Carter.
