She loved playing tennis, bowling, pickle ball, cards and games with family and friends. She loved watching and cheering on her LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints football, a member of The Catholic Daughters and volunteered her time at the Pregnancy Problem Center.
Ms. Gloria is survived by son, Darrel LeBlanc, wife Melinda; daughters, Denise “Dede” LeBlanc; Denette Baudry, Donna Bales, husband Bruce, Diane LeBlanc and Dana Stringer; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Glynn LeBlanc; parents, T.L. “Noon” and Nola Gonzales; brothers, Jay, Floyd, and Ray.
Pallbearers will be, Jonathan LeBlanc, Mattew and Thomas Baudry, Travis and Tyler Stringer, and Joshua Bales. Honorary pallbearers, John Baudry and Charles Tramonte.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, LA on Wednesday, November, 3, 2021 from 9:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge, LA.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Michael Castine and staff, Hospice of Baton Rouge, and Halo CC for the wonderful care provided for our Mother.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Cancer Society and Cancer Services of Baton Rouge.
