Gary Miller

Gary Robert “Bob” Miller, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, gained his wings to be with the Lord Friday September 23rd, 2022 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 80. He is a retired Process Operator from Ethyl Corporation and Ashland Chemical.

Bob was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend to many. He was an active member of Central Church and a spiritual leader for his family and all that knew him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife, Evelyn Clair Miller, Son, Robert Dean Miller, daughters, Rebecca (Becky) Miller, Traci McManus (Archie), brother, Chris B Miller. Grandchildren, Heidi Howard, Brittany Pourciau (Donnie), Nathan Miller, Trenton Miller (Abigail), Kayla Hall, Caleb McManus, Mallori McManus. Great grandchildren, James Oglesby IV, Brelynn Miller, Trae Gerace, Trey’ Pourciau, Kori Gerace, Preslee Miller, Bryce Pourciau, Lane Hall, Kynlee Miller, Lilly Gerace, Aria Hall, Renezmay Daigrepont, Judy Daigrepont, and Lucas Miller

Visitation will be at Green Oaks Funeral Home Wednesday September 28th, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Religious services begin at 11:00 am with burial immediately following.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Constance B Miller and Paul J Miller.

Pallbearers will be Robert Dean Miller, Archie McManus, Chris B Miller, Caleb McManus, Trenton Miller and Donnie Pourciau Jr.

“Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Clarity Hospice Center for his care.

“Big PawPaw” will be missed and we will forever cherish the memories he left behind.

A visitation for Gary will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815. An interment will occur Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815.
