Gary Franklin Hall passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, December 5, 2014, at 10:30am at the age of 74. Gary was born in Eldorado, Arkansas and grew up in Port St. Joe, Florida. He has been a resident of Baton Rouge since1987. Gary was a CPA and a retired Chief Financial Officer with Cajun Electric Company and a longtime member of Jefferson Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Burkhalter Hall, daughter Allison Hall Hodges and husband Lance W. Hodges, a grandson Tyler Griffin Hall, granddaughter Ella Katherine Hodges and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Harrison and Lillian Craft Hall; brother Nelson Hall; and sister Frances Merchant. Visitation will be held at 10:00am at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd followed by a religious service at 11:00am officiated by Dr. David Goza and Dr. Tommy French. A graveside service will be held at 3:30pm at Bethel Baptist Church in Franklinton, LA officiated by Dr. Gene Richards.
