Frank passed away peacefully, at the age of 93, on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the Pines Retirement Center in Baton Rouge. He was a native of Maui, Hawaii. Visiting on Wednesday, 3/6/24 at St Gerard Majella Catholic Church from 10 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM conducted by Rev.Tat Hoang, celebrant. Interment at Port Hudson National Cemetery. A former sacristan at St. Gerard Majella, he made pastoral visits to OLOL for over 20 years. He was dedicated to visiting local nursing homes and saying the Rosary daily. He served in the US Coast Guard as an RM-2, and retired after 27 years with the B.R. City Parish Government as a radio technician and electrical inspector. A member of the Knights of Columbus, he was an amateur radio operator (WB5REM), and enjoyed RVing, time with family and traveling, especially to the Holy Land and to his native home on Maui, Hawaii. He is survived by his beloved children: Martin Viveiros and wife Cindy, Gerard Viveiros, Stanley Viveiros, and Theresa Ronci. 6 grandchildren: Steven II, Heather and Nicholas Ronci, Kristen Lynch, Jacob David, Lauren Woodrow and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Clara Viveiros, and his wife of 42 years, Nora Yvonne Grantham Viveiros; a sister, Mary Louise Silva; a brother, Charles Viveiros, and a great grandson Riley Joseph Ronci Waller. Pallbearers will be Martin, Gerard, and Stanley Viveiros, and Steve, Steven, and Nicholas Ronci.
