Frances Ingram Beemer, age 95, was a native of Eldorado Ark, and a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge LA. Frances took her afternoon nap and woke up in the glorious presence of her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2024. Frances was preceded in death by her mother and father Jesse and Elizabeth Ingram, her husband Arthur H. Beemer Jr., two sisters Billy Sue Gebhart, Jesse Jean Devall, one brother Franklin M. Ingram, and son Pastor Warren E. Beemer.
Frances was a past Dow Chemical, executive secretary and was present when the Dow LAO facility in Plaquemine LA, broke ground. Later she continued as an executive secretary and teacher until she retired in early 2000. Frances was involved in several ministries during her lifetime which included, Family Training Union, Bible Sword Drill teams, Young Ladies for Christ, and 17 years as a Pastor in the Women’s Prisons and Addictions Ministries.
Frances is survived by her two sons Arthur “Hugh” Beemer III and Richard Beemer (Debbie) grandsons, Austin Beemer (Katie,) Robbie Beemer (Fallon), Charles Beemer, Kenny Beemer (Jenna), Susie Beemer (Robie), Kaitlyn Beemer, James Castro (Alyssa), Steven Castro (Erica), and Matthew Castro (Andrea), and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Austin Beemer, Charles Beemer, Steven Castro, Jeffre Raybon, Robbie Beemer, and Kenny Beemer. Visitation will be at GreenOak’s Memorial Cemetery 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge La, Friday November 15, 2024, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday November 16, 2024, 9:00 am to 10:00 am, with the memorial service starting at 10:00 am.
