Elizabeth Ann Kirchdorfer Wright passed away peacefully on May 31, 2024 at the age of 93. Born December 20, 1930, Ann was a native of Memphis, Tennessee and a resident of Baton Rouge for over forty years. She was a proud member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at her alma mater, the University of Tennessee, and a long-time active member of P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter AJ, Baton Rouge, and a charter member of Chapter AS, Pittsburgh, PA. Ann enjoyed being a Designer at Kornmeyer’s Furniture, working in the Gift Shop at the Louisiana Old State Capitol, and as receptionist at Ethan Allen. She lived her life to the fullest with her outgoing personality, enthusiasm for life, and abundant energy. She loved people and was always ready to entertain and be on the go. Her recipes, cooking, and enjoyment of food was another vibrant aspect of Ann’s life, best shared with others. Ann so loved her large family and many friends. She leaves her five daughters: Cathy (Joe) Hollerbach, Christy (Alan) Williams, Phyllis (Brent) Hill, Ginger (Roy) Uptegraff, and Linda (Steve) Edmonson. She adored her ten grandchildren: Matthew (Littany) Hollerbach, Ben (Hayley) Hollerbach, Bryan (Brittney) Williams, Kelly (Drew) Campbell, Lauren (Mike) Hodge, Eric (Caroline) Hill, Julie (Brian) Coffin, Leslie (Bryce) Bender, Lindsey (Parker) Gauthier, and Gregory (fiancé, Kaitlin) Normand. Great Grannie Annie delighted in her many great-grandchildren: Evie, Daphne, Maggie, Ellie, Thacher, Claire, Austin, Elsie, Audrey, Liza, Olivia, William, Vivian, and Charlotte. Also surviving Ann are her sister, Virginia Robirds, and cousins, R. Burke Wilson, Jr. and Connie Mayfield. The family is grateful to Ann’s neighbors and good friends who visited, called, and looked after her. Ann will be inurned at the church Columbarium.
