Elizabeth M Lyons

Elizabeth “Betty Lou” Lyons, native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the age of 77. Betty Lou was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was always nurturing and caring towards others. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Wade Lyons, Scottie Lyons (Gina), Craig Lyons (Heather), and Curt Lyons (Chara); grandchildren, Brooke Anslem, Morgan Toups, Chase Blum, Seth Lyons, Brittan Lyons, Brennan Lyons, Austin Lyons, and Brandon Lara; 11 great grandchildren, Kaizley, Kambrie, Korbyn, Kypton, Sutton, Slade, Kaylee, Bennett, Remington, Colt, and Skylen; sisters, Phyllis Entremont and Denise Cole.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Carol Charles Lyons; parents, Joseph E. and Elizabeth Melancon Mire; and sisters, Patricia Mire Haley and Mary Ellen Paxton.
