Edward Harrison

Edward B. Harrison, 78, of Greenwell Springs, LA passed from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, June 16, 2022. He was born to Clyde Harrison and Jewell Owen Harrison on Feb. 21, 1944 in Houma, LA. He grew up in Zachary, LA where he graduated from Zachary High School. He graduated from Northwestern State University in Nachitoches, LA. He majored in Industrial Technology and worked for 40 years as an Instrument Tech through Local 198 in different Petro and Nuclear plants in many states across the country. Ed's greatest joys were fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. When he was able, he spent many days in the woods and on the banks of rivers and lakes. He had a great knowledge of his sports activities, and he loved cooking and sharing. His greatest joy in his life was spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, playing basketball, practicing target shooting, and many other activities. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gail Anglin Harrison; three daughters, Ashley Jesse, Keely Albin, and Stacy Welch; four grand children, Bliss Morvant, Lily Jesse, Jackson Albin and Jordan Albin; many nieces and nephews whom he enjoyed spending time with. Ed is preceded in death by his three siblings, Frazier Harrison, Ann Neil and Judy Harrison; parents, Clyde and Jewell Harrison.
