Donald H. Landry, longtime resident of Baton Rouge and native of Morganza, passed away at his home on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the age of 74. Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and was retired due to injuries incurred during active duty. He was currently active in the follow organizations: The Military Order of the Purple Heart, Acacia Shrine Temple, Central Masonic Lodge #442, BR High 12 Club, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Underage Military Service, Bee Patrol, Americal Division Association, and Big Bad Bravo. Don was survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Betty B. Landry; children, Robin J.M. Landry and Tina A. Landry; close family friend, Amanda Good; step-daughters, Cheryl Bosarge, Terri B. Fitzgerald and Lisa Bosarge; brother, Simon J. Landry and wife Laura; granddaughter, Lauren J. Conner; grandson, Daniel J. Watson; and first wife and mother of his children, Betty (Jane) Vosburg Landry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence P. Landry and Esma Comeaux Landry; daughter, Lisa L. Watson; and step-son, Ricky Bosarge. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 8:30 am until the Masonic Service at 9:30 am immediately followed by the Funeral Service. A graveside service with military honors will follow at 11:00 am at the Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary. A reception will be held after the graveside service at the Greenoaks Reception Center from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
