Deanna Acosta Salamoni, age 85, passed away on April 30, 2023. Deanna earned her Associates Degree in Business and worked as a Human Resources Manager for the LA Department of Transportation and Development. Deanna also worked at Stern Fels Insurance and Dawson Engineering. Deanna enjoyed gardening, dancing, music, travel, and having dinner with family and friends. Deanna is survived by her daughter, Donna S. Stinson; sons, Noel Salamoni (Melissa) Niel Salamoni (Sara); grandchildren, John Stinson, Amber Stinson, Blane Salamoni (Allison), Alexa Salamoni Thornhill (Troy); great grandchildren, Beau Salamoni, Adley Rose Salamoni; nephew, Troy Templet (Shelia). Deanna is preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses and Daisy Acosta; sister, Carolyn “Kay” Acosta Templet; brother-in-law, William Templet; nephew, Burt Templet. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 8:00 am – 10:30 am with a memorial service to begin at 10:30 am at Greenoaks Funeral Home.
