A resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and loving wife of 58 years, Hazel, at the age of 79. He was well-known for his expertise in tile, stone and marble. He was employed by Elton Bolin Tile and Precision Tile at the time of his death and had been previously employed by Accardo Tile and Menzie Tile. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, fishing and working with local contractors and construction business associates. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Dec. 6, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home chapel on Friday, Dec. 7, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Gene "Tim" Bolin. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Anders Bolin; three sons, Elton Bolin, David Bolin and his wife, Veronica, and Terry Bolin; a daughter, Sherry Bolin Sisemore; a stepdaughter, Linda Miller and her husband Al; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Davis Curtis Bolin Sr. and Ulna Dove Bolin; a son, Royce Bolin; three brothers, Jack, John and Harry Bolin; and a sister, Sue Brady. Pallbearers will be Jon Bolin, Arthur Hey, Timothy Rathburn, Tommy Boutwell, Scooter Bongiovanni and Blake Veal.
