Connie Brown Tullos, age 83, native of Maryville, Missouri, passed away on February 10, 2022. Connie was a teacher and worked at the Louisiana School for the Deaf for over 30 years, after settling in Baton Rouge in 1978. The Louisiana School for the Deaf was her second family. She loved her students and they loved her. Throughout her life, Connie was passionate about teaching sign language to the hearing world. She also enjoyed crocheting and collecting dragonflies. Connie is survived by her son, Vincent Tullos (Susan); daughter, Tiffany Tullos Scott (Jim); grandchildren, Christian (Alexandra), Brandon, Meagan, and Lilly Tullos, and Jackson and Noah Scott; and one great-grandchild, Asher Guidry. Connie is preceded in death by her cherished husband of 59 years, Olouse Tullos, who left this world only five months ago; and parents, Harold and Audrey Brown. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Baton Rouge, especially the Butterfly Wing, for their amazing care and extraordinary compassion during the short time Connie was in their care. A memorial gathering will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 1:00 pm until time of memorial service at 2:00 pm.
