Barbara K. Kelly

Barbara (Houseman) Kelly, native of Iowa, and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 81. In her younger years she enjoyed BREC barrel racing, hunting, and fishing. Barbara also enjoyed baking cookies and treats for everyone else to enjoy, crocheting and gardening; however, her favorite enjoyment was spending time with her family and her puppies.

Barbara is survived by her children, John Kelly, Dawn Kelly-Cahill (Bill), and Jennifer Entremont (Joey); grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Scott (Ashlyn), Jordan, Justin, and Joey; a great grandson, Hudson; siblings, Dennis (Cathy) Houseman, Sue (Dan) Holliman, Rick (Cheryl) Houseman, Rhonda Elkin, Bob (Barb) Houseman; she is also survived by her fur-babies, Barkleigh and Cody. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd, and Helen Brandenburg Houseman; son, Dan Kelly; and grandson, Michael Kelly.

A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 8:30 am until the time of funeral services at 10 am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
