On Wednesday evening, March 3, 2021, Anna LeDuke Macedo passed away at OLOL Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the age of 73. She passed peacefully while surrounded by immediate family. A native of Clinton, LA and resident of St Francisville, Anna was the daughter of Charles and Anne LeDuke. She was the youngest sister to Bill Clemmons, Dr. Edward Clemmons, Lisa DeLong and Charmaine Richmond. Anna was the proud and doting mother of two sons Cristian and Luis Macedo and affectionately known as "LaLa" to her precious grandchildren Brayden and Mia Macedo. A true bohemian and Master Artist, Anna attended The University of Louisiana Lafayette and LSU. Anna's brilliant and boundless creativity was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a nationally recognized and award winning Graphic Designer, Painter, Sculptor, Jewelry Maker and founder of Bon Savon Soaps proudly handmade in St Francisville, LA. Her enthusiastically curious, authentically kind and lovingly spiritual nature shined through to anyone who was lucky enough to know her. Anna's love for her two boys and her two grandchildren was fierce, unconditional and unwavering. Anna had a vast, dedicated and eclectic group of friends and loved ones. She maintained strong bonds with friends from her youth, never hesitated to foster new friendships, was adored by her sons' friends and even remained best friends and confidants with her former husband Roberto Macedo. Anna's creativity was rivaled only by her sharp and playful sense of humor. Her impish giggle and unforgettable laugh could bring levity to any situation. Anyone would agree. In this day and age when true love and friendship are at a premium, Anna will wholeheartedly and heartachingly be missed. Nevertheless, her family invites you to celebrate her life, to cherish the good memories you have and to take this opportunity to tell the ones you love exactly that. We love you Mom. We love you LaLa. We love you Anna Maria LeDuke Macedo. Godspeed.
