Mr. Alex Ray Bennett, a resident of Baton Rouge, entered eternal life at the age of 77 on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Mr. Bennett passed peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He is a graduate from Baker High School, served in the Army National Guard and worked for Petro-Chem Maintenance for 30+ years. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Donna T. Bennett; children, Wendy B. (Julio) Giraldo, Kenneth, John, Sandra Bennett-Briggs, Patricia B. (David) Martin and Lindsay Rae Bennett; grandchildren, Jessica B. (William) Mothershed , Melody Bennett , Jodi Bennett , Alex Martin, Cory Giraldo and Scarlet Martin and two great- grandchildren; Layton Bennett and William “Bill-Bill” Mothershed. He is also survived by two sisters; Audelle B. (Bill) Saizon and Mary B. (Calvin) Schoommaker. Proceeded in death, his parents; John W. and Myrtle Bennett, a sister; Irma B. Lively and brother, John. L. Bennett. Visitation will be held by Celebrant Father Jack Nutter at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church, Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 9:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge. Special thanks to Dr. William H.
