Marie Ingram Hazlewood

Marie Ingram Hazlewood, age 91 of Fieldale, Va. passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018. Mrs. Hazlewood was born on February 28, 1927 in Ferrum, Va., a daughter of the late Robert Spottswood Ingram and the late Lillie Mae Peters Ingram. She was first married to Cam Martin, Jr for fourteen months, who predeceased her and later married C. Otis Hazlewood for 30 years, who also predeceased her. Mrs. Hazlewood was employed by Dupont as a Lab Technician for forty one years. She was a member of The Church of Christ at Claudeville, Va. She loved Square Dancing, especially Flat Footing. Mrs. Hazlewood is survived by her daughter Sandra Hazlewood, sister-in-law, Doris Ingram, brother-in-law, Odell Moran, step sister, Christine Eanes, nieces, Linda Milteer, Karen Fenter, nephews, Greg West, Larry Moran and Ken Moran. She was predeceased by four sisters, Jewel I. Hagood, Elva I. Turner, Iva I. Moran, Ruby I. West, three brothers, Poff Ingram, Guy Ingram, Lynza Ingram and one nephew, Timothy G. Ingram. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, March 19, 2018 at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home Chapel at Bassett, Va. with Larry Moran officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral from 12:30 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
