Born in the Pleasant Grove community of Henry County on May 18, 1917, she was a daughter of the late W. Watt Smith and Maggie Lou Smith. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Albert Nathaniel Williams Sr. and second husband Kenneth Hargrave, sons Albert Nathaniel Williams Jr. and Tommy Williams, a sister Evelyn S. Nodelyk, and a grandson Richard Morris Williams Jr.
Louise was a member of Bassett Memorial United Methodist Church, was a lifetime member of the Bassett Garden Club, and owned and operated the Village Soda Shop in Bassett during the 1950-1960s.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald Smith Williams of Cumming, GA and Richard Morris Williams and his wife Iris of Rock Hill, SC, a sister, Galilee S. Clark of Bassett, daughter-in-law Marlene K. Williams Pomeroy and her husband John of Roanoke, four grandchildren, Terri Lynn Williams Norton and husband Mike, Allison Morris Williams Powers and husband Gary, John Christopher Williams, Courtney Marlene Williams Turman and husband Brian, and ten great-grandchildren, Michael Roger Norton, Eric Nathaniel Norton, Alexis Blaire Powers, Grace Olivia Powers, Gillian Mackenzie Turman, Morgan Renea Williams, Chloe Eve Turman, Sophia Rose Powers, Landon William Turman and Matthew Ronald Williams.
The funeral service will be at 10 A.M. Friday, April 4, 2014, at Bassett Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Gresham officiating.
Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M. Thursday at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett.
