Eric Vincent Eberly, 73, of Peoria, passed away on Tuesday October 10, 2023 at Timbercreek Rehab and Health Care in Pekin. He was born on July 28, 1950, a son of Calvin W. Eberly and Constance (Granneman) Eberly.
Eric is survived by his two sons, Andrew Eberly of Bartonville and Bryan Eberly of Peoria; two brothers, Louis Eberly and Kevin Eberly, both of Green Valley; two sisters, Carol White of Sunnyside, Washington and Marjan Norman of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Eric served his country in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He worked as a maintenance foreman for Keystone Steel & Wire in Bartonville for 40 years, retiring in 2013.
Eric loved to golf, fish, and play pool.
Eric's visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Military Honors will be accorded at 2:00 pm at the funeral chapel. Cremation will follow his service. A private graveside service will take place at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria at a later date.
