WAYNE L. RICKMAN, 70, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. Mr. Rickman was a Navy veteran and member of the Moose Lodge. He was a retired steam fitter of local 614 and enjoyed fishing and playing golf. Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Barbara “Perky” Rickman of Memphis; one son, Eric Rickman (Velori Rickman) of Millington, TN; two stepsons, Jason Gammell and Brad Gammell, both of Memphis; one sister, Sharon Chambers of Sims, AR; one brother, Gordon Brainerd (Elizabeth) of Houston, TX; two grandsons, Alek Rickman of Millington, and Noah Leonard of Memphis; one granddaughter, Ava Gammell of Memphis; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Rickman; one son, Daniel Rickman; father, Forrest Rickman; mother, Otellia Miller; and his stepfather, Charles Miller. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 3 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Rd. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
