Shirley Louise Billingsley Smith, 78, of Memphis, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School. Mrs. Smith, the widow of Robert G. Smith, is survived by a daughter, Teresa G (Pete) Norton of Southaven, MS; two sons, Robert A. (Lisa) Smith of Bartlett and Curtis B. (Beth) Smith of Northlake, TX; a brother, Hubert Lee (Judy) Billingsley, Jr. of Eads, TN; and four grandchildren, Sarah Hall, Melanie Smith, Ryan Smith and Nathan Wikstrom. A celebration of Mrs. Smith’s life will be at 2 p.m. Monday, September 16 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Family and friends will gather beginning at noon. Interment will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
