Ronald Eugene Schmidt, age 74, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Ronald was born in Zanesville, Ohio to Elmer and Daisy Schmidt. He worked in the construction field for over 40 years for the Schmidt family and was a devoted Christian always sharing and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pat Schmidt; sons, Ronald Schmidt (Sonia) of Miami, FL, Chris Schmidt of Collierville, TN,; daughters, Cindy Bryant (David) of Bassett, VA and Carolyn Poole of Cordova, TN; grandchildren, Megan Schmidt of Cordova, TN, Cody Huff of Cordova, TN, Caleb Harper - Rose (Hallie) of Memphis, TN, Shelbie Beloshapka (Brent) of Oakland, TN, Kory Schmidt (Kaylee) of Bartlett, TN, Johnathan Zaldivar and Hannah Zaldivar of Miami, FL.; great grandchildren, Shiloh Beloshapka, Noble Beloshapka and Ophelia Beloshapka of Oakland, TN, Graham Schmidt of Bartlett, TN and Ryleigh Poole of Henderson, TN and honorary family members, Tammy and Paul Romero of Bartlett, TN.
Ronald dearly loved his wife, family, church and friends and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 15 at 2 PM at City Church, 8200 Macon Road, Memphis, TN 38018.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to City Church Legacy Outreach Program in Memory of Ronald Schmidt's lifelong commitment to the Homeless, Hospital and anyone he met that had a need and was led to the Lord to Help.
