Marie Temple Johnson, age 82, of Cordova, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Marie was born on October 29, 1938 to the late Thomas and Velma Temple.

Marie is survived by her Loving husband of 62 years, John Johnson; her daughter, Debbie Spangle (Billy) her sons, Johnny Johnson (Sheila) and Kevin Johnson (Vicki) her brother Tommy Temple (Pam) her grandchildren; Meghan, Michael and Rachel Johnson.

Marie worked at Baptist Central Hospital for 32 years as a Registered Nurse upon retirement; she was the head charge nurse of the ER. Marie was an avid reader and enjoyed growing flowers in her backyard. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church where she founded and participated in the Truth Seekers Sunday school class. Above all Marie Loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 9th at 11:00 am at Bellevue Baptist Church with a visitation held an hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to support Marie’s grandson, Michael Johnson, who is in full-time ministry with Campus Outreach.
