My beautiful mom and the best grandma ever. I can’t believe it’s been a year. I love and miss you so much. That will never change. I wish there was something I could do to change this. I wish you were still here with us. It hurts so bad that you are not here. I think of you all day long and talk about you all the time to your grandkids. I’m so thankful that you are my mom and that I got to be your daughter. You are always on my mind and forever in my heart. I love you always and forever love your Snow Princess 

In coming upon the one year of Lindas passing on to paradise I just wanted to let you know y'all are in my prayers for comfort. It helps when knowing Linda ran the race that she chose to run and won. She fought the battle that she wanted to be in and won. And we must run and fight to do the same. She has her well deserved rest. My dear sweet mom I think about you all day long, it doesn’t matter what I’m doing. I miss you every second! I talk about you all day to your grand babies. Know that though we aren’t posting often, many brethren are still keeping you in prayers, knowing that as time goes on it becomes harder before it becomes easier. We love you and are continuing to pray for God to comfort and help you through the difficult times of grief. So very sorry to learn of Linda Sue's passing. She was our 2nd cousin, Marion Caple Powell, David Caple and I.  I recall playing with all the Stephens kids when our parents, Bob & Ayletha Caple, would visit with Charles & Eleanor in Garden Grove, CA.  They were a lovely, fun family. Rest in peace Linda Sue. It sounds like you were deeply loved. XOXO

When a heart is broken by the Loss of a Love one it is so hard to find words to heal the Pain. But there is the Power of Love and Memory that was made by Linda that can heal the Pain that is felt, The touch of her hand, the beauty of her smile . I pray that those memories bring each of you relief  as those memories are forever present in your Hearts ♥️ 

My dear Grandma I love you and will miss you so much. Thank you for all you have done. Thank you for telling me bible stories, thank you for taking me to Disneyland, thank you for always playing with me and talking to me. ❤️❤️❤️Tell my papa and cousins hi I love you forever some day we will be together again love always Kingston

If you look in my recipe box, I have an index card that says Linda Sue’s Biscuits 1996.  It’s crinkled and stained from years of being tossed on the counter while I mix up a batch of biscuits - first as a newlywed, then as a mom.  Each of my kids have that recipe written out for them in their own recipe books:  Auntie Linda Sue’s Biscuits.  There are probably lots of us, friends and family who carry that recipe around, and will smile and think of her and Gary and the kids and grandkids every time we pop a pan of biscuits into the oven.

You will always be remembered with love, Linda. Your sweet and beautiful soul lives on through all your wonderful children and grandchildren and all the lives you touched with love.

Linda Sue took time out of her day when
I was very ill to bring me flowers. Why? Because I was a friend of her sister Tina and she wanted to brighten my day. She needed no more reason than to know a friend of her sister was having a rough go of it. She didn't know me well - but had an amazing heart. I will never forget this sweet lady and her unbridled heart.

Mrs. Hamilton, it’s a small world how our paths crossed. But it was bound to happen. It was the Lords will. Even after years of not seeing you, when we FaceTimed over the summer. You never missed a beat. I’m grateful for that last moment. It’s how I’ll always remember you. You always had a good soul and my Nana loved to fellowship with you. I know I shouldn’t question our Lord. But having you here with us, I know you helped make it better. This world needs more of that. So now those you touched will have to step up and carry on your good deeds - in His name! Which is what you were doing, faithfully, for so long. Thank you! Sweet Linda, our hearts are broken. We hold you in our prayers always remembering you with love, affection, wonder and admiration. Every encounter with you and your beautiful family was a fun-filled adventure with food, laughter and memories in the making. 
The Stephens family stories will continue to be told highlighting the circumstances which always seemed unbelievable and only possible in your family. My dad hung on every word when the telling began and then all the way through the humorous ending (which only opened the next chapter).

Our family got to know Linda Sue through her flowers. My dad loved them, and he always ordered them with her. I often would pick them up at her house; She was always welcoming; she did beautiful work; she decorated with flowers for my sister’s work party for 300, she did a beautiful job for my moms funeral that meant so much to our family; just like her flowers ~ she was beautiful, warm And always Lovely. I know so many hearts are broken right now and I hope that the memories of her kindness and love will get you through ♥️

I have known and loved your family since I was a young teen.  You were always kind, loving, and a role model of what a mom is.  You will be greatly missed and remembered with love. Rest in peaceful love. 

Mom I can’t believe last Sunday you were still here with us fighting! No time with you will ever be enough.  you have a spirit unlike any other, Full of life and vibrance just like the flowers you loved to give to others. I’m so thankful you and dad left your home in California to move out here to Memphis five years ago I can’t imagine trying to make it through the past five years with everything that’s happened without you here. Your grandbabies have no idea how to go on without you and frankly I don’t think any of us do, Dad included. Your grandbabies keep asking when your funeral is they don’t understand necessarily they just want to see you again. Ours and their little worlds all revolve around you. Special breakfast of pancakes and hot chocolate at grandmas house, lunch is sitting at the bar stools in the kitchen drinking chocolate milk, running around your backyard on the golf course, looking at your fairy gardens in the front yard in the flowerbeds, riding scooters on your big driveway and all the walks you take them on around your neighborhood including walking and sitting in the neighborhood gazebo. Numerous trips to the zoo eating lunch there with you and Grandpa . I can’t tell you how many times I’ve picked up the phone trying to call you to tell you about just the little things, like how doctor appointment went, a picture of some flowers I wanted to plant in the yard in the spring time.... and every other little thing that goes through my day. I probably called you about five times a day on a good day or you me. You were like a juggler with all of these balls in the air all of these children all of these grandkids you were always talking and taking care of everyone and your friends and people at church as well. Worried about everybody else and yourself the least. I wish you would’ve been a little more “selfish” To protect your own health so you’d still be here with us today.💜 At The same time I know you’re not in pain anymore but wish u still here w us
