Larry Edwin Tatum Sr, was born August 11, 1942 in Sheffield, AL. He went home to be with the Lord on November 9th, 2023. He was 81 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Helen and 4 brothers, Gene, Eddie, Mike, and Melvin Garner; and one surviving sister, Helen “Pixie” Padawer.

He is survived by his wife Carol Tatum and his four children, Debbie (Walter) Boucher, Cindy (Donnie) Rhinehardt, Larry Jr. (Deanna) Tatum, and Sonya (Jay) Jenkins; 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

He enjoyed watching football, fishing, shooting pool, reading, but most of all, spending time with his beloved family.

A visitation for Larry will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. The funeral will occur Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. The graveside service will follow.
