Anne Kathryn Barkley Whalen, 34, of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011. She loved God and loved people and was a graduate of Bartlett High School in 1994, Middle Tennessee State University in 1997 and received her MBA from Union University in 2005. She was also a member of Faith Baptist Church and was an employee of Pfizer, Inc. Mrs. Whalen, the wife of Daryl Whalen, also leaves her parents, Paul and Rhonda Barkley of Lakeland, TN; sister, Karis (Chad) Barkley Kennedy of London, England; a brother, Kirk (Dianne) Barkley of Cumming, GA; nieces, Eliana Kennedy, Sarah Whalen and Bria Barkley; and a nephew, Matthew Whalen. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday evening, March 22 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 23 at Faith Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens, formerly Memory Hill Gardens.
