JOHN W. JONES, 93, of Memphis, TN, passed away at Grace Healthcare on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Margaret K. Jones. He is survived by his daughters, Joann Zink of Olive Branch, MS and Johnnie North (Randy) of St. Petersburg, FL. He also is survived by six grandchildren: Randy Hooker, Glen Hooker (Sue), John Cory Hooker (Debora), Brant Hooker, Laney North and Tate North. He also leaves three great-grandchildren: Gerald, Tyler and Glenda Hooker. The loves of his life were two great-great-grandchildren, Brianna Chamblee and Davis Hooker. John Jones was a long time Ford partsman, first at Herff Motors, then Lewis Ford, and last Dobbs Ford, from where he retired. He played golf and was an avid sports fan. Visitation will be Monday, February 18 from 4 p.m. until service at 6 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Family interment will be Tuesday, February 19 in Memorial Gardens.
