Jere Dean Pierce, age 78, of Arlington, Tennessee went to be with Lord on Friday January 11, 2019. Jere was born February 29, 1940 in Brownsville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Evard and Myra Pierce, and his brother Stephen Pierce.

Jere is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years JoAnn H. Pierce; daughters Jolen Clark and Jill Kellis (Jay); Granddaughter Whitney Taylor (Chris); great grandchildren, Ty and Jordyn Taylor. He is also survived by his sister Joy Maclin.

Jere enjoyed his time on Pickwick Lake and traveling with friends and family. He was a genuine friend to all who knew him.

A celebration of life service for Jere will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A reception will also be provided during this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation in Jere's memory, to a charity of your choice.
