Jeannie Tabor, 66, was born in Memphis, TN, May 5, 1956 and passed away September 29, 2022. Jeannie was one of five children, born to Juanita and Ira Turnage. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Bobby, Linda and Terry. She was also preceded in death by her life partner of 25 years, Jerry Ridings. She is survived by her two daughters, Vicki Gelderloos (Dan) of Grand Rapids, MI, and Dawn Jones (Anthony) of Bartlett, TN, grandchildren, Ryan, Will, and Luke Gelderloos, and Ashley Jones, her brother Lee Turnage of Memphis, and an amazing group of friends and loved ones. She was known in her neighborhood by Moms to everyone that knew her. She opened her house to any event needing a place to host. Jeannie was a St Jude Partner in Hope giving monthly donations to help the children of St Jude.
A gathering of family and friends for Jeannie will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 4924 - Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a celebration of life memorial service from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM.
