Iola Bright Thisdale, age 94, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Friday May 17, 2019. Iola was born November 13, 1924, Ashland, MS, the thirteenth of fifteen children.

She was retried after 30 years with Kellogg's and a member of Ellendale Baptist Church.

Iola was preceded in death by her husband Glenn F. Thisdale and fourteen siblings. She is survived by her children; Cheryl Crookshank (Richard), John Thisdale (Jo Ann), Linda Lott (Tommy), nine grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00 am, on Sunday, May 19, 2019, with interment to follow all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pky. Bartlett, TN 38133.
