Emily Grace Wilkerson (15) passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019, at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on August 23, 2003, to Michael and Teresa Wilkerson. Emily was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Rose Wilkerson, as well as a cousin Lucinda Kay Luna. She was a sophomore honor student at Arlington High School. Emily loved drawing, singing, making people laugh and spending time with those she loved. She was a caring individual with boundless talent and a bright personality. One of her greatest joys was being an Aunt. She leaves behind many loved ones and friends. She is survived by her parents Michael and Teresa Wilkerson. Her oldest sister Kate (Aaron) Babb and her nieces Mackenzie Babb and Norah Babb and her nephew Hudson Babb; her brother Tyler Wilkerson; and older sister Isabel Wilkerson; Grandparents Marvin and Linda Ward; Aunt Melissa (Keith) Vick; Aunt Brenda (Robert) Reifers; and Aunt Patsy Williams. She also leaves behind Great Aunts; Great Uncles; cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A funeral service will be Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
