Edward Jerome Hampton

Edward was preceded in death by, his mother, Rose Lee Hampton and father Harry Cooper. Also preceded by one sister, Cora Lee Hampton.

Left behind to cherish Roni's memory is his wife Kimberly Hampton and children, Makia, Elana, Rita Rose, Ashlon, Joshua, and Aaren.

He also leaves behind four brothers, James McCray Jr. (Kim), Al Hampton, Harry Hampton (Kai), Greg Hampton (Ricci). Seven sisters also survive, Betty Blanton (Rick), Loretta Hampton, Gladys Lofton, Darlene Clements, Minister Sherry Hampton, Lora Cocroft (Clarence), and Coreen Richardson. He also leaves behind in-laws, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and co-workers.

Roni attended Coahoma Agricultural High School graduating in 1990. He went on to join the United States Navy and served for eight years. Roni was a Respiratory Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at Signature Health Care of Memphis. He was a member of World Overcomers Outreach Ministry Center (WOOMC).

The family will gather to receive friends Tuesday February 20, 2018 from 5 - 7 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Parkway, Bartlett TN 38133.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday February 21, 11:00 AM at World Overcomers Church, 6655 Winchester Road, Memphis, Tennessee.
