Ed is survived by his wife Loretta Gallarno, his children, John Gallarno of Lexington, TN, Mike Gallarno of Madison, MS, Lynn Neal (Alan) of Clinton, TN, Mary Balee’(Jay) of Germantown, TN, Al Gallarno (Teresa) of Bartlett, TN, Toni Miller (Pawel) of Mufreesboro, TN, Tina Hart of Memphis and two sisters, Dorothy Wells and Shirley Spears of Bartlett, TN, 15 Grandchilderen and 12 Great-grandchildren.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Flora Gallarno, his first wife, Mary R. Gallarno, three brothers, Charles, Daniel, and David Gallarno, and a sister, Mary Ann Tirey.
Ed was a devout Christian, Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather. He was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, and birdwatching.
Ed graduated Humes High School in 1950 and enjoyed playing sports and scouting in his youth. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and later became a scout leader for his sons’ when they entered scouting. Ed was a retired Steamfitter and Apprentice School teacher for Steamfitter’s Local 614 where he was a member for 69-years.
Services will be private and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
